I speak with my sister, Emily Berning, an anti-abortion activist that began her work while she was in college at Colorado State University. Since graduating in 2017, Emily has worked for the Leadership Institute and has gone on to found a nonprofit 501(c)(3) called Let Them Live. Let Them Live identifies, trains and mobilizes anti-abortion advocates to end abortion in their communities. Emily and her husband, Nathan, founded Let Them Live and work together everyday to end abortion. They live in an Airstream trailer that they travel the country in with their two dogs, Rick and Morty.
